Jo Jeeta Wohi Defender Plus Continuing our trend of doing new and innovative things every year in Zonal Sales conferences, we had organised a very unique and exciting Management Game — JJWD (Jo Jeeta Wohi Defender) Plus this year, interestingly conceptualised and developed on the theme of cricket and the Oscar-nominated film, Lagaan. This was basically an improved version of JJWD, a Management Game we had last year. The objective of the game, apart from being a fun-learning session for sales personnel, was to identify skill gaps in the field force and then try and plug them through further training programmes. The game, that lasted for about eight hours, was slickly designed and was most contemporary. It was divided into two main sessions: Elimination and Finals. Both the above sessions judged the teams on the following key parameters:
The game was very successful and an instant hit amongst the sales people. To give a few reasons:
The game was played in all the four zones. This year the branches that won the JJWD Plus trophy in the four zones were:

Pehachan 2002 This year Pragati Kendra made an effort to bring out the best in the young upcoming generation, within the age group of 10 to 15 years, by organising two personality development camps for three days, each named Pehachan 2002 from 18th to 26th April, 2002. Facilitators for these camps were invited from Svayam Project undertaken by Ms. Jignyasa Yagnik (qualified and experienced in Family and Child Welfare) and Ms. Mugdha Shah (qualified and experienced in Human Resource Development). Topics covered during the camps ranged from communication to creativity and leadership to team building using well-customized methodologies and tools.
On the final days of each camp, parents of participants were invited to the certificate distribution programme where contributions made by participants in various events and their learning from the camp were displayed and presented. The proud moment for Pragati Kendra was the time when not only the parents, but also Mrs. Smita Crishna, E. J. Kalwachia, S. F. Ayem and Harpreet Kaur spared their valuable time and encouraged our efforts. On behalf of Pragati Kendra we thank each participant and each parent for their faith in us. Based on participants’ demand, parents’ feedback, management’s support and our experience, Pragati Kendra is getting charged up to build series of such events ensuring regular follow up and deeper impact on the personality of our future — our young generation.
