 Shravan Sunderraman

cholarship students of Udayachal High School appeared for the High School Scholarship Examination conducted by the Government of Maharashtra in February 2005. Out of a total of 454 students, Sheldon Fernandes of Standard VIIEC ranked 37th, Debojit Chakraborty of Standard VIIED ranked 40th and Purvi Mehta of Standard VIIEB ranked 41st.

Udayachal students also appeared for the Maharashtra Talent Search Examination (MTS) 2005 and won laurels for the school. Shravan Sunderraman of Standard IXE was awarded a state scholarship. Anushree Kasbekar of Standard IXE won the consolation prize. Thirteen students were awarded merit certificates.   


Rushad Bachana

ushad Bachana, son of Neville S. Bachana, General Manager (Marketing), Security Equipment Division, secured 90 per cent marks at the SSC Board Examination 2004-05. He scored 95.33 per cent in Maths and 97.33 per cent in Science.

Rushad stood first in his school, the Bombay Cambridge School, Mumbai. He is now studying Science at Sathaye College and plans to pursue a career in biotechnology. CHANGE wishes him all the best in his future endeavours.
