A New Partnership

etroit-based Modern Engineering, Inc., a leading provider of design and engineering services to the North American engineering and manufacturing community, and Geometric Software Solutions Co. Ltd., a leader in providing total end-to-end Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) solutions, announced a partnership agreement on 21 July, 2003 whereby the partners would be able to expand the offerings of both companies and further the establishment of their global presence.

The agreement, which was signed between Ron Wood, CEO of Modern Engineering, and Manu Parpia, CEO of Geometric Software, created Geometric’s first engineering partnership with a U.S.-based engineering firm.

Commenting on the agreement, Manu Parpia said, “I’m excited to work with Modern, one of the leading and respected names in design and engineering services, and thereby launch our engineering services initiative. This agreement provides us the opportunity to offer value to Modern’s customers and increase our global capacities.”
