A Landmark Moment for Manufacturing Technology! 

Mr. J.N.Godrej Chairman & MD - Godrej & Boyce Mfg. Co. Ltd. handed over the first airframe section of the state-of-the-art BrahMos missile to Dr. A. Sivathanu Pillai, DS & CC R&D (ACE & NS), and DRDO.

BrahMos is a joint venture private limited company between Govt. of India through Ministry of Defence and Russian federation through NPOM. 

Godrej has established its ability to develop projects of complex technologies by manufacturing this critical section of BrahMos Missile. Godrej was selected based on their experience in Launch Vehicle Programmes for ISRO.

Dr. A. Sivathanu Pillai, CEO and Managing Director of BrahMos aerospace elaborating on the selection of Godrej for the outer components, said: “They have very good precision fabrication facility here. The main feature of this missile is its ability to hit target with precision”, and added, “only Godrej met that standard.”

Prima’s New Vending Machine Manufacturing Facility

Mr. P.D. Lam and Mr. Navroze Godrej inaugurated Prima’s new Vending ma-chine manufacturing facility at Pune on Wednesday, the 1st of February, 2006. Prima has recently signed a collaboration agreement with M/s Veromatic International B.V. of Netherland to produce state of the art hot beverage vending machines in India.

OHSAS Certification for Locks Division

Locks Division is the first division in Godrej & Boyce to have been awarded the OHSAS (Occupational Health and Safety Assessment Series) 18001 certification by TUV India Ltd. The certificate was handed over to Mr. J. N. Godrej by Mr. Anil Rairekar, CEO and member of TUV Board in a function held on 15th February, 2006.
