eet Panchal (8), son of Naresh D. Panchal of Precision Engineering and Systems Division, has been awarded two gold medals in the 16^th Annual World Funakoshi Shotokan National Karate Championship held at the Priyadarshini Sports Complex, Mumbai, in the Kata and Kumite events. Meet has been a student of Champ’s Bu-Jutsu Institute, Mumbai.

rupti Helegaonkar of Standard X participated in the Kochi International Yachting Regatta and Water Sports Show 2005 held at Kochi from 30 September to 2 October, 2005. As part of an all women’s team, she participated for the first time in this international sport and won a special prize of a return air ticket to any destination of her choice within India. ERFEGAR J DALAL, 11, son of Mr. Jehangir E. Dalal, Appliance Division was selected to participate in the 4^th KARATE-DO GOJUKAI WORLD TOURNAMENT CHAMPIONSHIP & TECHNICAL SEMINAR at Rotterdam, Netherlands held from 7^th to 18^th November 2005. This World Championship tournament is held once in 4 years and over 40 countries participated this year.

At Rotterdam, Netherlands in the World Championship tournament Kerfegar in Kata (Form) Competition for Boys 10 – 12 years came up to the Semi Finals and in Kumite (Sparing) he lost to an Iranian, who was the ultimate winner of the tournament. Kerfegar put up a commendable performance in the Tournament.
