Magic and Miracles
Liberty
In the words of William Shakespeare: “Love is not love which alters when it alteration finds.” It is immortal. If we shoot an arrow of love, the same arrow will come back to us and if we shoot an arrow of hate, the same arrow of hate will return again. Therefore it is important that we shoot an arrow with positive intentions. If we want to be loved, we need to love others first, if we want to be happy, we need to make others happy first. Everything in us is changing. It has been documented by radio isotope studies that our stomach lining changes every five days, our liver changes every four weeks, our entire skin changes every six weeks, our entire body skeleton changes every 12 weeks, our DNA changes every five weeks, depending on the emotion of love in each and every cell of our body. Our anatomy of the year 2001 is dead and the anatomy of 2002 will determine the anatomy of the year 2003 — all depending on what perceptions, thoughts, experiences and choices of love we have. Thus the integrity of our anatomy depends on the integrity of our love. According to Sir Doodley White Johnson, a famous cardiologist from San Francisco: “Anybody getting a heart attack below the age of 80 is because of his or her own fault. After the age of 80, it is God’s will.” He lived to the age of 92 and helped many people live to that age by following a lifestyle filled with love and compassion. This reminds one of Mother Teresa who believed that we lose health to earn money and then lose money to earn health. The quality of life is more important than the number of years we live. Here are two case studies, which show the magic and miracles of love:
Study I Surprisingly, the rabbits in the lower cage had no cholesterol deposits in the arteries while the ones in the upper cage had premature hardening of the arteries due to heavy cholesterol deposits. On further evaluation it was noticed that the caretaker used to play with the rabbits in the lower cage, hug them, kiss them, cuddle them and then feed them with poisonous food. Whereas while feeding the rabbits in the upper cage, he never displayed any affection towards them — on the contrary, he whipped them and then fed them. It was the emotion of love and care that made all the difference.
Study II
If we want to be happy, healthy and live
longer: Magic and miracles happen when we sow the seeds of love in everyone.
